Hi i have jsut started using LR3 so not up to speed with it yet. How do i transfer an image from LR3 to CS5 for editing? There is an option if you right click - edit in.. but the option for CS5 is greyed out, (all options apart from Viveza2 are also greyed out)

Is there a setting somewhere i have missed?:bang:

That is the way to do it - what file typesis it offering you - psd and tif? Go to EDIT > Preferences > External Editing and check the settings there are correct.
 
In the external editor preferences window does it show CS5 there?

also try clicking CHOOSE and navigate to CS5 and click on the exe file

Uninstalling/reinstalling CS5 will fix it, unless you're comfortable with editing the registry (if using windows)....

It didnt, have navigated to the CS5 .exe and it now works, although it added another photoshop link in the edit in comand, the new one i created and the old greyed out version. Oh well it works now.

I guess as DekHog said a reinstall of CS5 might work as well, CS5 was installed before LR3.
