hi everyone
I've installed LR3, but not exactly sure where to start, in terms of importing images, organising, etc.

I'm happy with the editing tools once the pictures are loaded in, but I'm not really sure where to start once opening up the software.

In Bridge, I'd just open the program, navigate to the folder of RAW files and get editing. It doesn't seem to be quite the same in LR3, with collections, catalogs, etc.?

Can anyone recommend where to start, or any good 'introduction to' type videos/tutorials?

I tried LR and junked it:cuckoo:played around and still didnt get it...read some stuff on forums like this and tried again, but with help. I bought the Scott Kelby book and  WOW it all made sense. It really helped big time from storing, backing up to processing. Considering how much the programme costs Im glad i spent a little extra on a well written tutorial that sits next to my computer all the time...great to dip in and out of from time to time:)

As well as Scott's book check out Martin Evenings one. I personally prefer his style

As above, to fully get the hang of the Library module it is best to watch some tutorials or get a book (I prefer Martin Evening's style) if you rush in there's a chance you may have to redo everything at a later date.
