Hi I was wandering if there is a setting in Lightroom 3 that could be set to auto adjust the CA and vignetting on all the images from a lens once the raw files have been loaded into lr3 ? In this case the canon 15-85. And what is the minimum pp done to a raw file ;eg sharpness? Ps; I only use Lightroom for raw images.

Yes. Just create a develop profile that includes the settings you want and apply it on import. The lens profile - if set on auto - will select the right lens.

thank you i will try to do that, might need some help though :-0

Hi I was wandering if u have time to run me through step by step if possible on how to do this? It'll be a great help as I don't even know where to start from.:-)

Just google "creating presets lightroom".

There are two ways to do this.
You can create a preset and have LR apply it on import, you can also set LR to apply these settings as the default settings, so no preset is needed.

To use the second method open LR and go to an image that has not had any adjustments done to it.
Turn on Lens correction and CA removal (and any other adjustments you find yourself using a lot)
Go to the Develop menu at the top of the screen and click on Set Default settings and select update to current settings.
This will then add lens correction to your files on import. It will also automatically detect the correct lens used so you dont need to change it if you use a different lens.

Thank you for your advice, that is exactly what I've been doing the last couple of days as somehow I stumbled across those settings.
