should you upgrade is a question for you. LR3 has some big improvemnts though. Noise reduction, sharpening, lens profiles and corrections- the list goes on.

In my opinion, a big YES.
LR3 is a major improvement over 2.7. Things that stand out for me personally are the much improved import dialogue, general speed, lens profiles and the improved processing engine (including the NR).
