Lightroom 2.4 Won't Update

I've just downloaded the new update for LR2 (2.4) and it goes through fine saying install complete etc but LR is still shown as LR2.3 and everytime I log back in it asks if I want to download the new version...Any ideas why it's doing this?

I had the same problem, downloaded again from the same link and it worked. NO idea why!

I wouldn't bother anyway. I've rolled mine back to 2.3 and 2.4 kept crashing on file import.

2.4 has been running OK for me (Mac version)
