Lightroom 2.4 in 64 bit problem

I'm running Lightroom (yes I converted from Aperture) on my Macbook Pro - great product. Glad I made the switch.

Today though I uncovered a problem. I was happily running LR 2.4 in 64 bit mode and today tinkered around in the web module. Since doing so I am unable to type in the text fields! If I switch back to 32 bit mode I can type, if I then go back to 64 bit I can't!

I haven't got a scooby doo where to even start with this one! Anyone any suggestions?

LR 2 is not 64bit enabled fully in the web module due to the tie in with flash or something. Just happened to be flicking through my LR book this morning and noticed it. Never used the web stuff myself.

Oh and it says for Apple you will have to restart the computer in 32bit mode.

Thankfully there's no need to restart the OS, it's always in 64 bit mode but you can restart apps in 32 bit mode which is what I did. However the text problem occurs in the other modules too. So even in the Library, if I'm updating a keyword, it won't see the typing.

Is that the Martin Evening book?
