Lightroom 1.3 bug?

Hi,

Up until v1.3 I used Adobe's Photo Downloader to import into LR. I simply inserted my CF card and Lightroom opened with the import window all ready to go.

Since I installed v1.3 LR opens but the import window doesn't appear. I've tried deleting my prefs file but it made no difference and the only setting in LR is to change detection of a card insertion or not.

Anyone else seeing the same problem?
 
Yup same problem as you

Have just posted on the User to User site in response to your post there.

If I disable the downloader in prefes it tells me there are no images available, on a full card?

LR still boots when I switch on my Epson Printer. maybe it's due to the CF reader in the printer although there is no card in the printer reader

i just use IMPORT in lightroom and it opens a box to tell me whats on the card.
 
Just got a message back from the LR user to User Forum. Seems that downloader works if LR is running. Just tried it and it does.

Now if I can only stop the bridge downloader from running as well
 
Yeah, it works ok if LR is already running but I'm lazy so I liked being able to just stick a card and have LR load, switch to library and open the import window.
