Lighting outdoor night vampier shoot

Hi,
Just after some opinions.

Friday I will be doing a night light vampier shoot. I only have a sb-900 flash on a stand to use.

Do you think this enough to create a good enough effect for, head and sceen shoots.

Reason for using 1 light is that my other sb-800 has just died on me.

Not sure exactly what you mean but you could try using a grid on your flash to pick out what you want to light. Have you checked the weather forecast? Is it cloudy or clear? Moonlight will help a lot.

Yeah I would think if you can get/make a honeycomb grid for your sb-900 & use quite low power you should be able to get nice effects.
