Lighting for hands etc

Hi. I have a friend who wants some shots of nails/makeup for her portfolio. I have some ideas and various off camera flash/studio light equipment but wondered if anyone had done this before and could offer advice.

assuming you are using owned kit, what ya got?

I'd be shooting fairly wide, soft even fill with hard tight key that just lit the hands a stop or 2 above that

Hi. I have 2 D-lites, soft boxes, brollies and as an alternative two Speedlights and an STE2.
So may be reflective brolly key light, soft-box fill and a reflector where needed?
