Hi

Maybe I am alone in this big world, but I often wonder how best to set lights up in studios? what will the model look like? well after spending the last few weekensds trawling through book shops I have found the following book (link to amazon)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Photographi...135082-9123807?ie=UTF8&qid=1194279396&sr=11-1

it shows how to set the lights up for a variety of scenarios, and then shows you the output of the setup as well.

It costs £20 from all good bookshops, or from Amazon its £13. I am just about to hit the buy button.

Admins - not sure if this is in the right place, appologies if it isn't, please feel freee to kick my butt and move it :)

Thanks for the link, I have also been trawling the bookshops and found nothing:( The only books I found were aimed at complete beginners to not only lighting but also photography, which surprised me as if you are buying studio flashes I would have thought that you are not a beginner at photography.

I bought that book about a fortnight ago. I chose it because it had plenty of 'how-to-do' information and Roger Hicks and Frances Schultz (husband and strife) are well known photography authors.

I bought that book a few weeks ago too. I liked the straight forward layout of 3d diagrams and final shot, but I also find it a little dull. after playing for a bit. still, it's cheap enough not to worry too much.
