lighting a room full of mirror

it is a typical dance studio!
So far I have been lucky enough to avoid this sort of studios. :lol:

My typical setting is using a big brollies from the side to emulate window light.

However I struggle to see how this is going to work in a room full of mirror.

It seemed to me the only option is to bounce from ceiling, not the most flattering light I would consider in the first place.

Any suggestion? :thumbs:
 
Don't worry about it, I've done this type of shoot several times, no problem.
You can only assess exactly what to do when you're actually there, but I've always found a few different options that work, which involve lighting the subject rather than the room of course.
 
As Garry says, it depends on the room, but often shooting through window and/or doors is an option. Windows tend to work best if the studio is on the ground floor, unless you have some 30ft lighting stands!
