Light tent lighting question.

I have recently bought a 80cm light tent from Ebay to do some close up work. I tried to shoot an orchid the other day but was disappointed with the results. The background (white) always seemed to be a blueish hue. I used 3 lights to illuminated the tent from the outside (2x proline X180 and 1x Portaflash 340VM). They were all linked together using a remote flash controller on the camera (D300 + RAW) which was controlled via the PC using Nikon's Camera Control Pro. I tried various different options like no flash and continuous light etc but could not achieve accurate colours from the orchid.
So are the lights causing the blueish hue? Should I buy some domestic spots? Should I try to get hold of "daylight lamps"?
If anyone out there has experience using one of these tents then I would greatly appreciate some guidance re lighting and positioning of lights.
Thankyou in advance. T.

Sounds like a white balance issue, colour temp too cold?, I'm not familiar with Camera Control Pro but have you tried adjusting the white balance of your raw files?

set the white of the white tent to be white in post, that'll sort it, sounds like a white balance issue..... omg how many times did i say white in that sentence :O (NOT a member of kkk)

Aye! I tried to vary the WB settings from freezing to roasting. Results were basically the same.

Can you upload a pic for us to have a squint at?
