I am subscribed to lightroom and photoshop cc and have it on my desktop and 17" laptop. Next month I am going to Yosemite National Park in the USA to do some landscape photography and would like to download and edit my pictures daily. I do not wish to take my 17" laptop as it is heavy and space/weight is limited on the flights. I do have a smaller, lighter laptop that currently does not have editing software loaded. Can I just deregister LR on my current laptop and load it on the smaller one and then reverse the process on my return or do I need to get another copy. The smaller laptop has an I3 processor and only 4GB of RAM so I know it is not ideal but hopefully it will cope.
Any suggestions welcome.

I think you can have two copies as long as you are not using both at the same time.

You can load it on as many computers as you want but only 2 will actually run it at the same time. You don't deregister etc, just log out.

Many thanks for your replies, I have now downloaded it, a pleasant surprise to be able to do this.

You can install on as many PCs as you like, but only be logged into two at a time.

Install LR on you small laptop.
Logout of Adobe on big laptop
Login on small laptop
All is good

Actually I'm pretty sure if you try to login with a third PC it will give you the option to log the others PCs out automatically.

I thought it was one or the other, you cannot be logged into both at the same time?

Having been to Yosemite National Park you will be taking so many pictures you won't have time to download and edit. I would suggest you take several memory cards instead and wait until you get home. May I suggest a trip to Muir Woods for the redwood trees and Alcatraz as well as they are in the same area. If considering Alcatraz book your boat trip to it before you go to the USA as it does get crowded and possibly fully booked , well worth the visit..

You can be logged into 2 at a time. When you try on a third it will tell you to log out of one of the others or it can do it for you but will log both out.
