light fitting for monopod

Anybody know if you can get something like the male spigot that sits on top of a normal lighting stand, to screw onto the top of a monopod instead?

It would if it had a 3/8 female in the bottom (sounds a bit dodgy that )

The one next to it does have a 3/8" female - although personally I've never found that size female to be much use...
