Looked into it a while back but no good for our workflow. Would take a bit of playing to get the focus and zoom correct. There is a hugely expensive projector based system that does this in a ttl fashion.
There's not much difference with the 'pattern' aspect of it I suppose... Strobo Gobo's got lots of window/geometric/foilage patterns, and they're standard size B gobo's so you can source others... it's the other bits that I thought were kind of different... this is what really caught my eye... just wondered how this type of thing would really work... you could do some really cool stuff... like using old family slides, you could do some really creative stuff if you had the right images. I just wonder how much fuffin around it takes to get a decent image...
