Life on the inside

Not at all. I could easily eat 5 meals a day if I wanted to, but I don't why those in jail should. They should be given the bare minumum to keep them alive IMHO.

Make your mind up....Starve them or shoot them.

I'd love to see the death penalty for violent crimes and attempted murder, or at least forced labour. Sadly in modern Britain people call that murder or slavery, but a crime like this, IMHO that doesn't apply. As sadly people like me are outnumbered that won't come but feeding these people 5 times a day is scandelous. How is gving them enough to stay alive starving them?

Fortunately, people like you are a tiny minority. There are plenty of states that administer barbaric punishments upon it's citizens if you feel that is the kind of society you want to live in, I'm sure you'll be very welcome.

The American deep south would probably fit your passion for gun violence and capital punishment, but I don't believe the forced labour requirement would be met. You'd probably have to head to somewhere like China to get the work camps.

I'd settle for no-one risking a bullet in the face.

Or even 2 just to be certain. Takes all sorts really..... I can hear the wolves howling ....

The problem is that people pick up on one tiny point such as 'they get five meals a day' or 'they have Sky TV' or some other irrelevance and think 'That's not fair, why don't I get that?' forgetting the big picture. i.e. these people are in prison - you are not!!

Steve.

Don't forget the staggering leaps of.....logic isn't the right word..... that take place to go from "One roid-addled ego-maniacal idiot says he likes prison" ===> "Prison is easy and no-one is bothered about being put inside". The mind boggles.

Some prison with sky TV and five meals. Makes me wanna be a crook!!!

Well if you want a good long sentence, you know what you have to shoot someone in!

Come on Steve, knock it off!!

Moral standards. The very thing that sets me aside from the people inside.

Your 'moral standards'

More idiot tomfoolery from one with little or no moral standards.

I still rate you as little more than a wind up merchant.

But we live in a free society and you are perfectly within your rights to express 'certain' opinions and I would be the first to defend those rights.

Your 'mockrage' posts really stand you out as a nasty piece of work and that you troll for news items that support your myopic agenda suggests you have way too much time on your hands.

Steve

Unlike the people in jail I've not killed , raped, assaulted or stolen from anyone nor would I, unlike them as that's why they are there.

I'm totally correct in saying I've better moral standards than the inmates in a jail due to the above fact.

If you could please explain how you feel my posting is idiotic without personal insults I would be happy to read them but your present wording marks you to being a belligerent, rude and abusive person

Also, please explain what my "myopic agenda" is?

But for the use of a decent lawyer you could be one of them.

They are not the only reasons people are in prison. So your 'above fact' is in fact not a fact at all.
There are other offences that can land you with a custodial sentence, I'm sure you can think of at least one or two. Whether you personally agree that those offences deserve a custodial sentence is neither here nor there the fact remains that they can.

I wonder if your viewpoint would be different if things over the last year or so had gone differently?[/QUOTE]

My point was, and still is, you are basing a lot of your opinion on 'facts' that are in actual fact just plain wrong. Therefore your conclusions are also wrong. Do you follow the logic?

A motoring offence...please...if that is the best you can do....

Selectivity again

More moral terpitude from the great moraliser

You broke the law ... big time .... you decided the LAW did not apply to you

Hypocrisy of you to mock someone clearly reminding you of your crime.

Had you killed someone you would have had first hand experience of life inside and all that entails.

Despite your claims that you will not do it again, that selfish little voice in your head means you will, in all likelihood, speed again, dven 48 in a 40 zone.

Breaking the law big time, yeah. Speeding. I am doing the punishment. Other than this and one other motoring offence, I have not broken the law. Motoring offences, unless there is an unintended injury/death are a little morally different to murder, assault, rape, armed robbery...

So my case stands. Have you ever sped?

You really take the selective biscuit!

I have held a driving licence for 41 years. It has never been endorsed for ANY motoring offence nor have I ever had a single parking ticket. Always insured proprly (even when I modified my cars) and always a current roax fund licence and MoT certificate.

In terms of speeding, it would be easier to list those who have not. So have I ever driven above the standing speed limit... given that most of my driving has been long distance then yes but have I ever driven more than 30mph above the standing speed limit, then No - that is a point where a court appearance is necessary to plead your case why you should keep your licence. So am I a criminal, of course I am, on the M6 @ 3am @ 80mph on odd occassions.

Am I a convicted criminal like you? No and it is unlikely I ever will be.

The ONLY positive out of your actions in trying a double the speed limit run, is that you gave the Police some very real practice in dealing with the anti social driver out to flout the law i a reckless manner. From that I am most definitely guessing that the event you initiated was not the first and only time.

Anywat nothing changes the fact that you at least will not be in a position to ignore the Road Traffic Acts for some years yet and that, bluntly, means we are all safe from you.

Anyway, must go, I am getting into my car and off to Chepstow to grab some photography time as my afternoon appointment has been rescheduled. Nice when you can just get into your car and go..... oh wait..... convicted motoring criminals, sentenced like you, cannot drive. Get a chauffeur, it will be easier.
