LG TV Photo Viewer and Sony A7CR portrait images

Hi all,

I've been viewing images using the Photo viewer built into our LG OLED TV for years.

I've recently bought a Sony A7CR and the TV won't display the images. The images are exported from Lightroom as JPGs and stored in a shared folder on a Synology NAS.

What is weird is that this only affects portrait images, landscape images display just fine on the TV. I don't have any issues with JPGs from my previous Sony camera (A7R3).

Any ideas anyone ?

A quick update. I've found that exporting from Lightroom with a reduced resolution e.g. a long edge of 3840 or 7680 pixels fixes the issue, but I've never had to do this with any other camera.
