lg ips monitor

Hi guys i notice that ips monitors seem to be the thing for photographers anyone know anything about this one its about £180, i was thinking about buying 2,

any thoughts?

I dont know that monitor, but LG make and supply most of the IPS panels found in a lot of other brands such as HP and Dell, so I guess it'll be ok.

Looks like it *may* use the same panel as the 23" Dell model. Interesting! And cheap @ £153.98 at ebuyer...

there doesnt scream anything wrong with it and think its worth a punt!

There IS some information out there, but it's limited. Refresh rate is poor, apparently, so no good for gamers. There seems to be a pinkish tink when viewed from the sides too. Not sure how relevant these issues are to be honest.

I don't know about LG IPS screen, but I have had 2 24" screens using TN panel, and they are very good, about 2 years without any problem and they do color calibration great with spyder elite 3

so i think LG is good
