This looks like it maybe worth a visit in the next 2 weeks
The old Leyland Reservoir in Clayton-le-Woods will soon be demolished. The developer is Kingswood Homes of Southport and they have kindly agreed to open the reservoir on Sat 19th Oct 2013 for public access for a period of about 2 weeks.
7 days a week from 10 am until 4 pm.
