Hi all,

Got a weird shot of the moon this evening with a big circle round it (looked much better in person than in this pic) but had to take 2 shots to get it all in.

I have joined the two RAW files in PS and spent ages messing with the levels but they just won't match up. I have been trying all eve and got close (the large raw looks better than the jpg btw) but you can still see the line across the join.

I don't have much experience with RAW but shot it in RAW to ensure I could get the closest match. Can someone please advise how I can get these to blend? Is there a better way than levels?

Many thanks!

If you bring both images into a file as layers, does the auto blend facility in the edit menu help? (Assuming CS4 or CS5 - can't remember if CS3 or earlier has this capability).)

Anthony.

That's almost perfect - thank you so much!
I just need to tinker ever so slightly now. So much easier than messing manually.
Thank you!

You could try turning the top layer blend mode to screen, that'll make the black in that layer vanish.
