Slightly geeky (ok, a lot) but lets see your desk setups

This is mine about 8 hours after I did the flooring and built the (new) desk.

Jan's desktop and flat screen normally sit where the lappy is but it's in bits at the mo.
 
I actually have plasma screen - style ghosting issues with mine. And it cost me an effing fortune cos' I had to buy it twice (the first company I bought it from went into administration - nice).
Ho hum! It's nice otherwise!

I don't have that problem thankfully. I actually have a Proview 17" monitor which cost me a lot more dosh and supports higher res's. I didn't originally plan to replace the monitor, but I just liked the look of this which was on display with the CPU and it's 19".... so :shrug:
 
I have no such shame. It's a mess but I know exactly where everything is and I feel comfortable here. Besides. I have better things to do than housework!

Mighty fine amp, served me well when I had it.

well spotted(zoomed to 100%?) that man. Tis indeed the kenwwod. Fine amp when wired up to my retro TDL rtl2's and my pioneer cd player (now defunct due to mp3 :()

The vinyl is run through some cheapy gemini decks but with rather nice ortofon carts and a technics mixer. Sounds lovely through the floorstanders when it's cranked up. Neighbours hate it though. I've had complaints :(

Nothing compares to playing in a club though. Or on a stage, as I'm sure catdaddy, bachs etc will testify!
 
Never did it myself, from 95 to last year I had a pair of decks (ended up selling them for £40 with all my vinyl, just to get rid).

All I ever mastered was title of "Legend in my own bedroom" :D

:lol: The bag's on top of a radiator drying out. Water resistant doesn't include the weather we had yesterday :(
