I am practically giddy with anticipation. :bonk::bonk::bonk:

And can you believe they've only released Season 2 on BluRay / DVD today!! :eek:

I've got just over 3 weeks to watch it again, before Season 3 starts :)

Oh yes, can't wait! The only thing that could possibly be better would be the next book, The Winds of Winter!

If you're talking characters, then Tyrion, Arya and Jon Snow are to my thinking the most interesting. But ..

Apparently they hired lots of injured ex servicemen for some of the battle scenes this series, requiring chopped off body parts.
Better they get some money rather than computer bods for some cgi overlays.

A ruse used to great (if gory!) effect by Steven Spielberg in Saving Private Ryan (and possibly by others before him).

There were lots in season 1, less in season 2 and my thinking is that it'll go like True Blood etc and there will be hardly any in season 3.

I really like GOT but get totally confused with who's who and who's friends with who and enemies etc.

The interweb is full of pages that go into plenty of detail as to who's who etc.

Thanks. My main problem is failure to concentrate properly but i'll have a look at that site.
 
it is a bit confusing with so many characters isnt it, the books are good to introduce the characters better although in places they are hard work to work out who is who, who is new, who we havent met before, whos dead, whos alive, the only thing we are absolutely sure of is that "as with lord of the rings sean bean dies near to the end of the first series"

I love the books. BUt the show brings life to characters.
I don't usually have a difficult time visualising characters, but with GoT I did. This show has solidified the whole thing.

Now if they'd only do Gemmells "Legend".
 
I enjoy game of thrones immensly, currently re-watching season 2 awaiting the new season beginning.

Totty wise I enjoy Lena Headey the most
