I'm looking at occasionally dabbling in astro photography.
I'm using a canon 550d and have just ordered a 7d mkii. I've looked at various websites which give advice on the best lenses to use, from Rokinon 24mm f1.4 costing £300 to a canon 35mm lens around 1100 quid!
Trouble is I'd like something I could use for more than just astrophotography as the weather is pretty rubbish most of the time, and the haze where I live kill off any view of the stars when it's good.
Needs to be a wide angle zoom or prime for an APS-C sensor...anybody any ideas?
