lens hire - where is best

hi there

i am in Cornwall and need to hire a Nikon lens, something like a 80-400mm preferably AF.. I will need it for about 48 hours..

Anyone recommend a company to use ?

+1 for lenses for hire. Used them many times and always amazing service (and price)
 
Lensforhire also, have a look at their Ts + Cs everything is explained in plain english, price and delivery, looks good.
 
Used lensesforhire about 5/6 times now, very satisfied every time.
 
LFH also, i needed a lens urgently for a weekend of car shows when i asked for it on the friday morning and i got it on the saturday morning before i left home.

I will use them again and ive recommended them to many people.
 
I tend to use Lenses For Hire but if they are out of stock I use Lens Pimp, I started using LFH first and Stewart has provided an exceptional service.
 
What about for non nikon or Canon snappers? I'm thinking maybe im after a sony dedicated macro lens to try out.

Hire Anal Phalens (www.hireanalphalens.co.uk) have a minolta 100/2.8 macro for hire. Same design as the Sony equivalent.

IMO your best bang for buck option is the tamron 90/2.8. Great lens for, relatively, little money.

Thumbs up for lenses for hire.A lens came today from them which I ordered.Used them before and no complaints.
 
+50 or LFH Ordered late Thusday for a Sunday 3 day hire. Arrived 11am Friday. All packaging to send the stuff back easilly. Great price, great communication and very easy to use.
