Lens help/suggestion

Hi Guys,

I am looking in getting back into motorsport photography, i dont currently have a telephoto zoom lens but am looking at getting a new one.

I used to have a sigma 120-400mm f4.5-5.6, i found this a good lens, but was heavy to hold all day, and the detail of photos werent quite sharp enough.

any of you seasoned sport togs have some suggestions for me my price range is £400- £600.

Although a 70-200mm with a 1.4 tele might just pass.
