I'm not exactly a beginner but for me, photography is just a hobby, not a profession. I have one quick question which may make me sound very stupid but oh well. I own a Fujifilm Finepix S2950 which is alright, not amazing, but sometimes I get some pretty good pictures. A friend of mine recently recommended I start using lens filters so I did a bit of research and found some filters that could come in quite handy. However, someone told me I also need a lens adapter ring? I was just wondering, when it comes to buying lens filters, what else I'll need? Is the adapter ring a necessity? And are there any specific lens filter types you'd recommend? Thanks
