Just seeking some advice regarding cleaning my filters and lenses. I was just cleaning my UV filter, it is virtually brand new but just got a tad dirty from a day out, and I got it pretty clean but when I look closely there are some very small particles etc. now these are incredibly minute, I struggle to see them but nonetheless I do see them. So my question is: Should these be going or am I just being too 'perfect' and will not be able to get the to brand new state again? As no matter how delicate, soft and precise I was, they just seemed to stay. Thank you in advance.

Don't worry about them is the short answer.

I thought that may be the case but it just bothers me when I can't get it flawless. I know it is probably not an issue for the images because it is so small. Thank you for your reply.

If you're that worried about image quality then you really shouldn't be putting another piece of glass in the way of your light.

Because I have analysed both images and there is not anything different that I can see with my eye, zoomed in. There my be slight differences but none that is standing out to the naked eye. I keep it clean enough so nothing has shown up. I understand your point, however.
