Lens filter cleaning!!!

Morning

I've just cleaned one of my filters and I am unable to remove the streaks.

I did not pour the fluid straight onto the lens and used lens cleaning tissue.

I know this may sound like a daft question! Does lens cleaning fluid have a shelf life?



If this is not the best way to clean filters what do you recommend or use?

I don't bother. No streaks to worry about then.

Brush loose rubbish off as needed. Job done.

Brush off the bits - breathe on the filter, wipe carefully with soft, lint-free cloth...job done. No need for cleaning fluid unless you got salt-spray or dry-marks from rain spatter...

I use eclipse fluid and microfibre cloth. Works great.
