Lens correction/Nikon D7000

Bought myself a nikkor AF-S 50mm f1.8 G on Wednesday,And decided to take a few test shots.when I open the images in view ND,I get a message saying that images can't be shown as RAW files/edited as there's a lens correction problem.is this something that is sorted by updating the firmware to the D7000?
All help welcome and appreciated...

Never heard of anything like that before!!!

The best I can offer you is to investigate any of
your RAW file with that problem…

what software are you trying to open the images with ?

The Nikon Lenses also accept firmware updates. Check the Nikon site and make sure your up to date ?
