What would you recommend for a really good lens microcloth / liquid / tissues or whatever
Mine leaves swirls on the coated surfaces of my Hoya Pro-1 digital filters. Thanks

I use Zeiss lens wipes - moistened individual tissues for lenses, spectacles etc.

Old fashioned little paper wipes and a drop of Isopropyl Alcohol. Be careful to avoid the edges of the filter where you can pick up a tiny amount of oil used during assembly/manufacture of the filters.

Ah ha. That’s probably my problem ☹️

Not your T-shirt.

Although I was on a course once, and caught the tutor doing just that!

WHEN (not if!) I've had the problem, I've cleaned from the centre outwards with a small drop of IPA on the tissue. It can take a few tries to get a nice big clean area in the middle of the filter but it's worth persevering.

Dip it fully in the washing up bowl after the washing up of dishes. The outside of the lens will look fantastic. The lens might be ruined but on a mantle piece as an ornament to be truely admired
