Yes
I have a Kodak Pixpro bridge camera that I brought new a number of years ago but have hardly used. As my point and press is is failing i was going to put this into service but the original lens cap drops off regularly and of coarse provides no protection for the lens , the cap slide over the outer edge of the lens so with this in mind I thought about getting a more rubberized one for a pair of binoculars as most of these fit on the outside. My thoughts are if I buy an exact fit t will be loose from the start so was thinking of going a little smaller but how far do you think I'll get away with ? The outer of the camera lens is 62mm do you think 'd get away with a 60mm cap ?

Almost certainly not. I'd get one that's as tight a fit as possible and use gaffer tape as and when necessary to "shim" the cap if/when it gets too loose.

Thanks my Nod the original is made of hard plastic and never fitted when new, I've been using an elastic band for most of the time but the camera looks like some sort of patched up Holga affair Not that I have anything against Holgas !

Before you dash off and spend money measure the bottom OD of a plastic bottle I bet you will find one which fits.

I'd been looking for some kind of Bottle cap and had never thought about the other end !
