Hi

I've a (fairly) new Lenovo Ideapad, and have calibrated the screen (manually, not using a spyder) to the best I can for the time being.

The problem I have is, every time I open an image, the screen dims and significantly increases contrast (I assume to what it thinks looks best).

The Ideapad has an NVidia graphics card, but I cannot find any settings to turn this function off.

This is the symbol that pops up as the screen adjusts

Seems to be saying "Your looking at an image, let me make it look better for you", which is exactly what I don't want it to do.
Any help would be very much appreciated. NB - this does not have anything to do with the power settings.

no one seen this before?
