Having purchased some Lencarta kit a few weeks ago I took up the offer of the discounted one day course with Garry Edwards up in Bradford.

Just thought I would let folk know it was great day and a brilliant insight into Studio Lighting. Garry certainly knows his stuff and has a good common sense approach.

Its very hands on and it helps to get stuck in, which I did.

I think I learned a lot but I know I only scratched the surface of what there is to learn.

Well worth it and highly recommended from me.

Another happy customer :),

Probably going to be a long shot but would be cool to get some sort of thread that collaberats all peoples experiences would be good insight to see how different people have got on :) could also help improve the courses (not saying they need any but might help)

I have had help & advise from Garry so I can only assume these courses are pretty damn good (plus i have some of his tutorial DVDs which if they are anything to go by there is lots too learn).

Yes, a thread that combines all of the various feedback would be a good idea, but I think only an admin could actually do that.

All teaching can be improved - and especially mine:). I welcome all feedback, and especially suggestions for improvement. Problem is, people tend to either say nothing or make positive comments, I feel that my particular weakness lies in getting everyone to get equally involved - some people naturally hang back and others tend to push themselves forward, and I find it difficult to 'persuade' naturally reticent people to get their fair share from the courses and to rein back the ones who don't suffer from natural reticence...

Not being a teacher myself but I think you'll find it hard to get the same level of interaction from everyone, from recent experience in group shoots I know its different but every photographer seems different and you get ones that get stuck in and others that hang back and wait till there approached.

Maybe a Lencarta cattle prod lol :P (get over there and set up the lights "ZAP!!!" lol)
