Help, just bought the Lencarta Kit, and I'm struggling to put together the Softbox.

I'm totally useless at anything like this (have messed up many a flat pack kit, normally by not screwing in correctly).

Can anyone (Garry?) help?

Cheers

Mark

It does when I'm here - let me know your phone No so I can keep an eye on the caller display:lol:

Seriously though, 0845 618 2889

I've done it finally, was confused a little with the speed ring.

Then I had problems clamping it to the light :bang:

Not to worry done now, thanks for the help guys

I have a large Lencarta Octobox which clamps onto the flash. Twice when I have paused mid session talking to the model (i.e no stamping around etc) it has flopped off and deposited itself on the floor, I am worried about clamping too hard in cases it damages the head. Any comments please?

That will be the one that clamps onto the Ebay heads?
Not really much you can do, except to do the clamps up fairly tight. You might mark the head but I'm sure you won't damage it.

Thanks Garry. Its an Ebay Octobox that I am clamping onto heads purchases direct from lencarta.com. I think you are right about cosmetic damage rather than actual damage. I taped the heads to avoid that but I wondered if anyone had other ideas. I might try a leather or similar belt which would be thicker and provide a slighly spongy surface to give a better grip.

tape the softbox bracket to the head??? should stop it falling off
