I spoke to a gentleman today who has used Lencarta, Elinchrom and Bowens lights, and said the Lencarta modifiers are great and there is no discernable difference when compared to Bowens or Elinchrom softboxes +1 for Lencarta

I believe he uses the Lencarta profold softboxes which are easier to put up. But the other Lencarta softboxes are Chiaro. Is there any differences in quality I need to be aware of, e.g. one being more durable than the other or the Chiaro holding its shape better than the profold?

you'll go mad thinking about this. Theres no real difference. Use, enjoy then add to your kit as you need to

The only difference is that the Profold are very easy and quick to put up, the Chiaro assembles/dissembles in the traditional way. There is no difference in quality or effect

Thankyou for your responses,

Quick question Garry does the Lencarta Studio Boom (Kit £99.99) come with a lightstand and the weights?

Thanks
