Leica SL2-S compatible with Nikon Speedlight SB-27

Is the Nikon SB-27 flash compatible with the SL2-S.

I've been offered one and would hate to damage the cameras electrics

For very small values of compatible. The SB-27 is a relatively modern TTL flash so extremely unlikely to damage your camera. It should work in manual or auto mode but not TTL. It might be advisable to tape up the extra contacts on the flash's foot just to ensure there are no unwanted interactions.
