Leica M8 - I'VE GOT ONE!!!!

Hi,

Further to my rather sad and disillusioned thread of last Saturday,

I've finally found an M8, and it's the chrome body

It's just 3 months old, with latest firmware, and it comes with Leica's answer to the IR/Moire problem - 2 free Leica IR filters.

I was offered a brand new 6 bit coded Summicron 50mm f2 as well, at a price I would be churlish to refuse, especially as my old Summicron is a bit beaten up, and uncoded. I got a clean £400 off list

So, my gadget bag has shrunk somewhat with the loss of the D2 IIN, and all the L lenses, but I still have the 20D/300 f4L combo for the birds, and a camera which I'll use far more often, in the shape of the M8.

I'll try and get pics up soon, but I'm still working on the wedding pics, so it may be a while.
