Hi guys, I wanna get a new ND Grad filter, I currently use Lee Filters on a Cokin Z-Pro mount (I bought the Cokin Z-Pro because it’s cheaper than the Lee mount but both are the same size)
Does anyone know if the glass/resin used in the Cokin Z range of filters is the same as the Cokin A and P.
The Cokin A and P filters both give a magenta tint, which I don't want, does anyone know if the Cokin Z do the same – if they do I’ll just go with the Lee Filters.
Also, can anyone comment on the quality of the HiTech filters??
cheers

No idea on the Z Pro.

What I read having just looked at this recently is that Hitech are fine on their own but give colour casts if stacked. Figurd I'd stick with Lee for the grads (I have a hitech 10 stopper here).

So hitech are like Cokin A & P that they cause a cast when stacked.

Anyone know if Cokin Z-Pro cause a cast or are the Z-Pro Cokins top line top quality filter similar to Lee Filters??

OK thanks for everyone's feedback. I only have 1 Lee and sometimes it's just not dark enough, 2 stop. I was hoping to buy a Z-Pro as it's far cheaper than the Lee's, but if it's gonna add a cast I'll just wait for the good ol' Lee's.

I know I can remove a cast in PS, but I just like to keep my shots as simple as possible.
