Why are people buying the big stopper filter at stupid prices on e..y I just bought one from Dale cameras will be with me tomorrow.
 
Because supply is slow and they are not always in stock - sometimes 6 months before they are in stock!
Daft really but that's supply and demand for you.

PS - I paid £94 delivered for mine from Speedgraphic - refused to pay over the odds for one!
 
I'd tend to agree with Julian. I've been lucky though and always had mine with in a week and never paid more than £94 delivered.
 
I bought mine from speed graphic for £90 when they were first introduced and have been amazed at how much they have been selling for on ebay I must admit it has been tempting to sell and make a good profit, with the benefit of hindsight I should have bought ten I could have made enough to buy a D800.

Got mine today from Dale in small print only one per household.
 
Yeah the one per order / household is fairly standard - stops people selling them for profit on fleabay:)
