My LCD monitor is fading fast so need to purchase another monitor, would it be advisable to go for another LCD or move forward to LED screen.
Thanks

There's probably a bit of confusion going on here.

An LCD screen is lit by either Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (Fairly antique technology now) or via an array of LED's, any monitor you find should be LED. But there is no LCD or LED scenario so to speak.

Hope I've made things a bit more clear, not sure if I have! o_O

In leymans terms
Almost all monitors are LCD (liquid crystal display)
LED refers to how the screen is lit.

So if you see a monitor referred to as LED it will still be an LCD display.

Thanks for the replies. some time ago I seem to remember there being an issue on calibration software being an issue on LED.
