And welcome Ladies & Gents, yup here it is - Another 365! A picci a day will I do, I intend the majority to be wildlife as that is my passion, however that will obviously not be 100% realistic all the time, so wil then resort to creativity with my *for now* Nokia 5800, 3 mp Carl Zeiss'd lens phone. Camera is *at present* Nikon D70s. Onwards and upwards, looking forward to tomorrow..

Happy New year, all guys and gals ;)

here we go, shot on D70s, Nikkor 85 1.8, and an old tokina 2x converter. (bl***y pain, have to mf and manual exposure, be glad when I get a 70-300!) 'Optimised in CS3, bit of cropping too. ;)

tks, and Happy New Year :) I love wildlife, but sometimes it can be murder...I'm sure I will resort to the 'ol Nokia! :D

Good luck with this, I find wildlife to be one of the more difficult disciplines.

Liking the colours and composition on this one. Good start.

Day 2...a coal tit, I need to try and get some shots from outside from different angles..however for now.. Took on 'my' 'new' Canon EOS 30D, and Canon 100-300 USM.

Day 3 Canon EOS 30D, 100-300 USM

Day 4. different angle of a dunnock - I'm going to try and do a different bird every day, how long will that last?! Canon 30D, 100-300, CS3

AAAAAnd day 5 song thrush. Canon 30D, 100-300

tks Bill :D todays is a squirrel, shame I don't want to repeat wildlife for as long as pos as I got a better thrush today! Canon 30D, 100-300.

Day 7... Canon 30D 100-300

Day 8... All shots from now until otherwise said will have been taken with Canon 30D. ;)

Day 9. Already I seem to be running out different birds! Had to resort to a female pheasant today - Mark you a FEMALE pheasant, only had a male earlier on  Starting to think it might have been better to choose something like taps or houses. :D

lol only kidding, great shot,
Did you by chance (when editing) select around the pheasent and brightened and sharpened and stuff on its own? or is that what it really looked like at the end of its tail :p

Whoops! Yes did the magic select, just realised how terrible it looks!:cuckoo:Will replace with a better one in a tic

Day 10. Left it too late in the day and had to use 3200! Not too bad, had a go at reducing background blur, not too successful!

Thanks Bill :D I know I used to be a bit limited on high ISO when I used to use my bridge. Mind you, your S200 EXR is a mean machine! Save up for a DSLR! :D

oohhh they come pretty cheap! :D Sadly, I can't do todays as have been travelling all day to get to Centre Parcs. Will take 2 tomorrow instead.

here a 2 to make up for missing yesterdays...still rubbish technically, only chance I had of photograaphing a bird!

Was flat out yesterday so just couldn't take a shot. Anyone who has been to a holiday type place and been told to look after an 8 yr old will know. On one of these slides in the swimming complex, had to go on this rapids about 40 times one after the other; get on, down, bump, flat, drop, bump, pushed underwater, bump, sharp twist then out and run after him so he doesn't get lost in the maze of 100s of people doing the same, arrrrr nightmare! So here are 2 I took today,

I like the swans in the house shots, I would have been bricking it.

tks all. ;) Its not OUR house, its the chalet at Centre Parcs...we would've cleaned up anyway..should something have happened! :D don't know why it posted twice, deleted both anyway. :)

Not been good, not taken any over the past few days - been doing so many other things. :'( Here are todays. Not great at all, light was agains me had to use 800 +. Treecreeper had minor clonings of small branches and the usual adjustments in CS3, same with the other 2. I think I'm going back to a bird a day, I don't have enough to do a different type every day!
