So Adobe announced 22.3 with which also includes the much awaited Mac ARM native app. It's lightning fast I'll give it that.
BUT, external extensions no longer work, so you can forget NIK collection, Luminar, On1, Your favourite Luminosity masking panel etc.
Their fix, run photoshop under Rosetta which is fairly easy to do by toggling a checkbox under Get Info. Kind of defeats the object of having a Mac Native app but heyho, I do understand it's early days and we need to give some time for other developers to update their plugins (at a cost no doubt)
The problem is that when sending an image to Photoshop from Lightroom, Lightroom ignores this use Rosetta flag and opens Photoshop as a Native app only.
I've been on the chat with Adobe this morning and they are aware of it.
ADOBE IF YOU ARE AWARE OF IT WHY NOT FIX IT BEFORE YOU RELEASE THE SOFTWARE AND WHY RECOMMEND IT AS A FIX?
Anyway, if you use Lightroom and plugins in Photoshop, don't bother installing 22.3, it's a half hearted release.
