Hello all,

I've recently bought a 2nd hand Lastolite White Vinyl train. Trying to find a cleaning agent to get rid off the shoe marks from previous usage. I've tried all the ones in the house but, no dice.

If anyone has had the same problem and has come across anything cleaning agent which cleans up the shoe marks please could you advice.

Have you tried a 4:1 ratio of APC? i.e. flash or tesco daisy? I find it removes most things. I use it on my car mats etc.. Or maybe a car cleaner - Autoglym Vinyl and rubber care or similar?

I spotted the detailer there, I was goig to sugest daisy or autosmart G101.

If they dont shift it and it is rubber scuffs from the bottom of shoes then a solvent will shift it, again from the detailer kit autosmart tardis or autoglym tar and glue remover applied with a cloth, dont spray it on.

The magic sponges/erasers are abrasive and may remove the top surface of the vinyl

I've been using them on my white vinyl for some time and no problem yet... but I'll watch out... thanks for the warning!

haha, yeah, you can't half tell!! tardis would shift it, but prob start to eat the background too.
