Lastolite Hilite with Lencarta SmartFlash

Hello i have purchased a 3 head Smartflash set from Lencarta to use alongside a Lastolite Hilite.

Put it together today with on flash head in the hilite and the light appeared yellow and where the flash head was i could see the dorection of the light, which i think may be more clear in the attached photo.

how can i resolve this, sorry pic is poor from phone

What is on the end of the flash head ?? Reflector ??

Have you tried firing the flash, the yellow tinge is probably the modelling light...

yes, the modelling lamp is tungsten, so it will appear yellow-ish. but that won't show up in the photos when the flash fires. it does appear, though, that you haven't attached the reflector to the head or you have it pointed towards the front of the hilite. try firing it more towards the back and you should get a more even spread.

yeah it just has a reflector on the end.

to be honest not yet tried it with camera, will be trying that tomorrow, only had chance to set up the hilite with lights so it may appear to be different tomorrow.

The reflector is attached, but will play around with its direction tomorrow
