thanx Ian for replying ...just not to certain which way to go ..just need a small cost effective set up thats of reasonable quality

You can certainly do a two-person headshot with the Ezybox, however if you can stretch your budget a wee bit then the 28" Westcott Apollo is worth considering - Ian should be able to get you a price for one of those......

I recently was debating which one to get and got the 76cm version kit from Hawks photo video, who were fantastic to deal with.
The 76cm is verging on a little big for the bracket I feel, but it works just fine, and gave a good enough spread of light for me to do class shots for a local school (I cannot post an example sadly, but I was pretty sure the 60cm version would be a little too small for 2 person shots.
So, not much help really, but I can vouch for the quality of it all, and if you have the space, then give the larger one a try, as it will rarely be too big, but could easily be too small too often..

Thanks Steve after reading your post thought I would look around and I think you are right probably go for the 30" ...lastolite do a 76cm kit which is there newest one it is a whopping £193 amazon ..might ask if the family would chip in and get it for my xmas :)

You can get it here £199 :eek:

Wow that's expensive, I got mine last year and I think I paid £160 , and I got the light/mask modifiers included.

Are you sure that was for the 30" x 30" kit as I was under the impression this was a new one just out ...could be wrong anyway amazon has just dropped the price to £188 so going the right way

Ah you're right, my apologies. I got the 60 by 60 the new one is going to be quite big. Good luck with your purchase, p.s you may need to get some cheap sand bags or ankle/wrist weight to hold down the stand if there is going to be some outdoor breeze.

Wouldn't it be better to get the lencarta set up? Only a little bit more? U

I have a couple of speedlights I want to use and also looking at outside portraits so its the convenience factor :)
