Hi all

I am looking for a large (approx 70x100cm) softbox for speedlight. Budget around £30-40. IFor this price it will not be a beautifully build and robust item, and I am fine with it, as long as it does a reasonable job. i will be using it for food photography.

I am really interested only in items that someone form TP already used, to avoid dissapointment.

I've just got one from Ebay, it goes up easy and is easy to use, although I've got some bodging to do to make it more flexible (a symptom of this design).
 
got it, thanks a lot. does it provide a nice and relatively evel light when used with speedlight? And what do you mean that you want to make it more flexible?

The light is OK given it's only a single diffuser.
I opted for the single diffuser because I don't like the speedlight hanging out the back pretending it's a studio light, stuff silver foil into the gap route.

However the downsides are:
Single diffuser - but the light before the diffuser is bounced from the back of the box (effectively a reflective brolly)
There's a lack of movement tilting it down due to the standard flash bracket pivot restricting tilt (the softbox hits the stand) A boom arm or an alternative brolly mount is the fix.
 
I have the same softbox and it's great value. The only downside is if you are using with manual triggers then you have to faff about to reach the flash to adjust the power etc.
