Hi all

Anybody know of a photo printer that will print panoramics up to 90 or 100cm wide?

Failing that, regular "ratio" prints to 100cm wide & I can guillotine or scalpel off the excess height.

Thanks!

Gerry

They will all print wide, you just need to buy the paper on a roll.

Not necessarily. When I chose an A3+ printer this was a consideration for me too. I visited the "Photography at Work" exhibition that happened to be on when I was making my choice.

Canon said their A3+ printers would not print longer than 19 inches.

HP's B9180 would print up to 44 inches long in Windows and unrestricted length on a Mac.

Epson (2880) would print unrestricted lengths but I was put off completely by having to swap black ink tanks for photo and matte media. Until they fix that I'll not consider and Epson printer.

In the end I bought the HP B9180.

I've found that Fotospeed's range of "pigment friendly" papers work very well with this printer - good service from Fotospeed too. Usual disclaimer!
