My young daughter is looking for a laptop, she doesn't want to spend more than £400 as its not going to be used for anything extensive. Just normal browsing and general stuff.

Any good deals just now? Any make you can recommend £400 and under. She would take a refurb if it was good.

Lots of people will disagree, but a second hand Macbook off of the 'bay could be a good option. They have known components and tend to last well unless the batteries go. Battery life is decent and as long as you don't want to do anything crazy like run Teams they are great.

Also, you can whack Win10 on if you so desire.
