Laowa 200mm f/2

Anyone thinking about this lens?

I have the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm 1:2.8G VR which I don't use much, (not sure why, maybe now it's because of the size), but when I use it I am amazed as to how good it is ........ mine had the (common) squeak/whistle ....I sent it back to Nikon, they cured it but it seems to have come back!!

It should be a nice portrait and sports lens. But you have to really need something special over a standard 70-200 2.8 which already delivers spectacular images

I have the Nikon 200mm f/2 VRII.

Once you've experienced what it can do at f/2 you'll realise that it offers something beyond the 70-200.

I'm quite interested in this lens and the Sigma equivalent. Much, much lighter than the Nikon, though the Sigma would need to be a Sony mount with an adapter.
