I'm looking to improve my landscape images and would appreciate recommendations for workshops.

I've seen references to Mark Banks, Joe Cornish and Steve Gosling but can't find any reviews.

Anyone got any experience of these or any other providers?

I went to a Steve gosling seminar at Leeds uni not so long back (organised by a forum member), was very interesting to listen the thought process in his landscape stuff.

I see a groupon offer now and then for a Tom Poultney landscape workshop at Bolton abbey, I almost bought one last time but just missed out.

After the seminar with Steve, he mentioned he was going to be running a workshop with joe Cornish sometime (not sure when). I guess the details will be on Steve goslings website......

If you do find one you like the look of, let me know as I'd also like to attend one.

Rich.

I've been out with Joe Cornish and Mark Banks, together on Joe's one day workshop, very good.

TBH It was as much about the thinking that goes into a shot than the technique.

Like Mark I've been on the Joe Cornish Workshop, both Joe and Mark Banks hosted the day course I attended. Much as Mark says you'll learn about the philosophy of landscape photography and I found it a pleasure to listen to Joe's approach, he doesn't really give much away on the technical/practical side of things though so if that's what you're looking for I wouldn't really recommend it... apologies for the plug but I'm hosting a Snowdonia workshop on the 18th May if it's of interest

Simon
